Here’s something new from Dell.ca — they’ve started carrying Vizio televisions. Right now 3 models are available, and while 2 of them aren’t anything special price wise at the moment, they do have pretty decent pricing on a 42″ 120Hz set.
Specifically, the Vizio SV420M-C 42″ 120Hz 1080p LCD HDTV w/4x HDMI is $779 with free shipping.
With free shipping included (the majority of retailers won’t ship 40″ or larger TVs for free), we’d say it’s par with or undercuts the least expensive 42″ 120Hz sets at the moment. Impressions of the SV420M (and other SV family Vizios) over at avsforum.com are quite positive.

Dell’s $499.00 pricing for the 10.1MP Rebel XS comes out ahead of other retailers. If you’re looking to get your feet wet with a Canon DSLR, this might be the place to start.
The Philips 47″ also looks interesting. There were some big TV deals during Boxing Week, but until we find a deal on a time machine, those are going to be tough to get right now. A 47″ 120Hz LCD for $1099 with free shipping looks decent. If you are interested in the TV, you should also note that Dell is offering no interest for 6 months on all TVs.
