February 3rd, 2009 Posted in RedFlagDeals
Right now you can take advantage of DiscoveryChannelStore.com's Semi-annual DVD sale -- every DVD is up to 75% off.

They have their biggest deal up front, and it's good for today only: Planet Earth on Blu-Ray for $34.99 US. However, sign up with an email address to receive special offers and you will receive a coupon code (EML2009) good for $5 off orders of $25 or more. You can then bring the price of the Blu-Ray version down to $29.99 US.

This is the Discovery Channel version narrated by Sigourney Weaver. Some may prefer the original BBC narration done by David Attenborough, but this is still a nice price for this critically acclaimed documentary. With a test order shipped to Toronto, shipping costs came to about $10.

Don't forget that the sale covers all of the DVD titles on the website. Some other interesting titles include When We Left Earth, The NASA Missions DVD Set for $39.99, Survivorman Seasons 1 & 2 DVD Set for $29.99, and Dirty Jobs: Season 1 DVD Set for $19.99 to name a few.
