If you’re on Twitter, you can now follow the user @BoxingDay at http://www.twitter.com/boxingday for the latest news about Boxing Day flyer releases! As always, we’ll have early copies of Boxing Day flyers from major retailers and Twitter is one of the ways you can be notified when they’re posted! Advantages of using Twitter? For one, Twitter is very easy to check on your mobile phone (assuming you have a data plan) using many of the available applications. Plus you won’t miss a flyer drop while you’re compulsively updating your followers about whatever is on your mind!
How will the @BoxingDay Twitter account be different than the normal @RedFlagDeals account? The normal account is often delayed by 20 or 30 minutes because it is based on the RSS feed, but the @BoxingDay account will be updated as soon as we post the flyers. Plus, if keeping your Twitter feed minimal is important to you, it will only have information about Boxing Day.
