Get up to $250 for Opening a Personal/Small Business TD Account
TD Canada Trust wants small business and individual customers to bank with them. If you’re willing, they’re offering a cash bonus of up to $250 when you sign up and meet certain requirements before December 31st, 2009. A detailed list with a handy table can be found on TD Canada Trust’s site here. In short, to get the maximum $250, individuals will need to sign up for an Infinity or Select Service Account AND one of the following TD credit cards (links go to the the CreditCards.RedFlagDeals.com where we’ve broken out the features and benefits):
- TD First Class Travel Visa Infinite Card – $120 annual fee
- TD Platinum Travel Visa Card – $99 annual fee
- TD Gold Elite Visa Card – $99 annual fee
- TD / AAdvantage Platinum Visa Card – $120 annual fee
You’ll also need to use those cards and accounts to meet the requirements like having direct deposits setup. The fees on the Infinity and Select Service chequing accounts though can be waived entirely if you keep a minimum balance of $3,000 and $5,000 respectively. If you want to keep things simple, you can also just sign up for a Infinity or Select Service chequing account with a regular direct deposit and two pre-authorized debits (ie: cable, internet, phone) and walk away with $150.
For small businesses, there’s a pretty simple way to get $100. Just open up a new business chequing account and maintain a minimum balance of $8,000 for 2 months after it’s opened and they’ll give you an extra $100. They’ll give you even more if you’re willing to sign up and use their business credit cards.
