ING Direct has very tempting offer at the moment -- make an RSP transfer from another bank to ING Direct and you get ING's 1 Year RSP GIC at the rate of 3.00%. Detailed instructions can be found on the supplied page. You must transfer by July 1, 2009 to be eligible for the offer.

The "Big 5" Banks have a 1-year GIC interest rate of about 0.4%, and beyond that, no institution is (as of June 24) offering more than 2.250%. ING Direct's 3.0% is pretty compelling.
