To celebrate and show its support, VIA Rail is offering a 40% off coupon when you sign up for their email newsletter or update your profile if you are already an existing member. The coupon is emailed to you afterward (and it comes pretty quick, from what we can see).
The “e-coupon is valid for a 40% discount on the adult regular fare when you purchase an Economy class ticket for travel between any two stations on the VIA Rail network. Tickets must be purchased online. Travel must be completed between September 22 and October 7, 2009 (inclusive) and between October 14 and December 14, 2009 (inclusive). Other conditions apply“.
The travel dates windows are pretty decent, and of course 40% off is nothing to sneeze at — this is a good deal!
