If you’re an Xbox gamer and you aren’t paying for Xbox Live at the moment, Microsoft will give you a chance to see what you’re missing with a free “gold” weekend. This was announced on MajorNelson.com (the blog of Larry Hryb, Director of Programming for Xbox Live). Xbox Live silver members will have free access from 12 noon eastern time on November 20th to 12 noon eastern time on November 23rd.

For the duration of the event, Silver accounts will get access to online multiplayer and other perks (which can vary by region).
