Heads up, tax time is just around the corner! The big deadlines are April 30 (income tax filing deadline) and March 1, which is your last chance to last chance to contribute to an RRSP this year! We’ll start with the biggest! The Ultrasharp U2711 is brand new and is sure to leave a lot of people drooling. Reviews from Anandtech.com and CNET.com are in, and both have a lot of positive things to say. Each publication gives the panel an editor’s choice award. Anandtech summarizes things nicely with the statement “near professional quality at a pro-am(ateur) price”. The monitor certainly won’t be for everyone given the price, but if you need a high resolution IPS display with many bells and whistles (like 30-bit deep colour), the U2711 is definitely a product you should explore.
There’s no shortage of offers if you don’t have $1249 though.
