How it all works:
In order to participate in their auctions, customers must buy bids in advance. Bids are sold in packs of 30, 50, 100, 300, and 700, for $0.75 per bid. As a bidder you have the option of either placing each individual bid yourself or using your customizable electronic BidTiger. With every bid placed by the users, the timer is increased by 15 seconds and the price of the auction also increases by $0.01 – $0.10 depending on the auction type. When the timer hits zero, the bidder that is left standing on top is the winner of that auction. Auctions typically end at very low prices, averaging the consumer just about 70-85% off suggested retail prices.
